The LASCO range of products is blended from Trinidad Natural Asphalt in order to derive the benefits of its excellent properties and is aimed at the industrial and household markets.

LASCO Anti - Corrosive Black Paint

TLA Paint is a blend of Natural Asphalt in an organic solvent mixture. It dries to a buff finish , acts as a barrier against corrosion and does not contain asbestos. The protection is achieved in two ways

Natural bitumen acts as a tough and resilient barrier against corrosion
The non - corrosive mineral is less than 10 microns in particle size and therefore remains in suspension. This gives increased protection, the end result being a more durable finish.

Uses of LASCO Anti - Corrosive Black Paint

For painting:-

Corrosion Protection - Pipelines, Automotive Chassis, tanks, marine structures, fencing, burglar proofing, frames etc.
Decorative purposes (fencing, burglar proofing etc.)

The product is available in quarts, one gallon , five gallon drum (55 gal) sizes from Lake Asphalt of Trinidad and Tobago (1978) Limited.

LASCO Seam Sealant

LASCO Seam Sealant is a high quality non - toxic, natural black asphaltic cement containing no asbestos fibres. It will adhere well to a variety of surfaces. As with the other products in the range, this product is manufactured from Trinidad Lake Asphalt. In this process the asphalt is modified to result in a formulation that can be applied at ambient temperatures with good flow properties that will subsequently dry into a weather proofing membrane

Uses of LASCO Seam Sealant

Home construction and repair industries
Cementing down asphalt shingles
Repairing or patching cracks in concrete walls or old roofs
Repair leaking drinking water tanks
Filling and sealing internal joints and seams in vehicular bodies

The cured product will not sag or separate , is impervious to water, and is available in quart, one gallon and five gallon and drums sizes from Lake Asphalt of Trinidad and Tobago (1978) Limited.

LASCO Underbody Coating

LASCO Underbody Coating is a blend of Trinidad Lake Asphalt designed to give superb anti - corrosive and sound deadening properties to any surface to which it is applied. It shows no sagging and provides a versatile, durable, high performance economic coating. It does not contain asbestos and can be applied with a variety of equipment, including spray guns.

Uses of Underbody Coating

The main use of the product is for the protection of the underbody surface of various parts of motor vehicles.

INTRODUCING - LASCO PIPE GUARD AND LASCO METAL GUARD

LASCO Pipe guard is made up of a blend of Trinidad Lake Asphalt and fillers in an organic solvent. The product does not contain asbestos and is resistant to splashes of all petroleum solvents, gasolene, diesel etc.

Recommended Uses As a protective coating for tubing, pipe lines, drill pipes and casing in storage

LASCO Metal Guard is a blend of Trinidad Lake Asphalt and fillers designed to give superb anti - corrosive protection. This product as with all LASCO products does not contain asbestos.

Recommended Uses Maintenance coating for metal structures, steel and concrete
